Hi friends
Its Rajib Shahriar Rubence, one of the unnecessary, meanness, smallest member of this magnificent universe. On July 24, 1975 I was to begin a new journey. From the worm, happy, secure world of my mum’s womb to a world that is cold and full of insecurities. Being a part of this large planet I forgot to behave like a just born baby, I forgot to cry. My mum eagerly thought me as a dumb baby. The doctor furiously told me, "how dare u don’t cry?" Then slapped me rudely. From the first moment of my life, I got the experience of the human rudeness and began a shrill cry.

My birthplace is on the top of a hill in Chittagong city, Bangladesh. That hill is known as "Kata Pahar". I can’t remember which lap I used to like most, the lap of my mum or the lap of the nature. My dad was a government service holder in General Insurance Co. Still I feel proud to declare that we are a simple middle-class family. We have neither a dwelling place of own nor a car to drive. This is a matter of being proud as most of my dad’s colleagues (even his juniors) of that co. made a lot of wealth in dishonest way. Riches have never touched me but Allah didn’t make me apathetic. He filled my childhood with joy and pleasure, laugh and fun, love and affection. My childhood passed on the lap of my dad, mum and two of my elder sisters. I was always close to their heart. There was a slam area near our house. When I was eight, I always wanted to play with the slum area’s boys. But couldn’t always success cause of my family. Thus in the very beginning of my life, I found all human beings are not same in status and position.

I had my schooling in two of the famous schools of Chittagong, St. Placids School and Collegiate School. I studied in St. Placids till class eight. But I was tired with the rules and strictness of that school. So when I got the proposal to move to Collegiate, I didn’t think twice as that school is famous for both good result and as a heaven for restless boys. I got the real test of freedom in Collegiate School. Most of our school hours passed with cigarette and lot of friends in a restaurant behind our school. I completed my school life in 1992 passing the S.S.C exam with 1st division. After then, I got admission in Chittagong College, the largest college in Chittagong. My college life was also full of fun. That was the first time I saw girls from very near. I chose several girls in my two years college life, but couldn’t tell anyone cause lack of confidence and bravery. I feel better in chatting, laughing, joking and singing when there is no girl near me. In 1994 I passed the H.S.C exam with 1st division and got admission in BBA of Chittagong University. I took Marketing as my major. Now I am in 4th year (final year). Time is still going on chatting and enjoying life with friends. To me nothing so far happened with any girl and the future is unlikely to change.

I have three sisters but no brothers. Two of them are married and elder than me. One is a professor and another one is a doctor. My younger sister has just passed the S.S.C examination. My dad is in his retired life now. And mum is my only mum. For me the best mum of the world.

Sorry for mumbling a lot about my life. If you have time, please read the following, which is my personal thinking about life and our duty in this beautiful world.

Friends, one day we will become an adult and probably a very important member of our society. May be some of us already enjoying a good status in our society. Do we know our responsibility and commitments to society and others? Can we spare few moments of our precious time everyday for someone who needs it? Do we know the power of helping others without expecting anything in return? Do we know the intense feeling of doing best to others? We all want to go to heaven in our eternal life. But if we do our best to society in this life, help the poor, work together without distinction of caste and creed, we can get the test of heaven in our this life.

Friends, The Almighty God creates us all and He is in control of all the events happening in this world. Unfortunately, He is not supposed to be seen, heard or felt. So, He runs his world using His best creation like you and me. When we work for society, for human welfare, for making this world a heaven, we’ll realize it is not our hands that do that job; it is the hands of God.

Thanks for your time.
